…Of Jonny Appleseed with our entertaining and interactive musical show, The Legend of Johnny Appleseed. This fun-filled interactive experience with Johnny Appleseed himself includes the very interesting history of John Chapman. Watch the story of his life unfold right in front of you, from traveling the land planting apple trees to befriending pioneers, Native Americans, and animals. Laugh, dance and sing along with this engaging show while also having fun learning about the life cycle of an apple tree, pollination, bees and more!
Johnny Appleseed was a folk hero and pioneer apple farmer during the 1800’s. Visit our Johnny Appleseed History Walk, where you can learn about Johnny and the history of growing apples.


The Legend of Johnny Appleseed Field Trip Includes:
- Experience The Legend of Johnny Appleseed musical show
- Pick an apple from our orchard and a freshly baked cookie and apple cider
- Enjoy a guided tour aboard a tractor train ride through the Apple Holler orchards. Learn how wind machines protect the orchard.
- Discover John Chapman’s history in our Johnny Appleseed History Walk
- Explore our Farm Park-Farmyard animals, Kid’s Corral, All-New Spider Web, Cool Cow Maze, Giant Slide, Corn Palace, Corn Maze, Tinyville and much more!
- Visit the Golden Goat Bridge and feed the Billy goats, nannies & newborns
- Take pictures at our photo ops and make memories that will last a lifetime!
Cost for Johnny Appleseed Field Trip
$11.50 per person (children and adults)
A minimum of 30 participants is required. Groups smaller than 30 may be paired with another group to meet the minimum.
Reservations are Required.
Includes Wisconsin Common Core Standards in Science, Agriculture, Agriscience, Ecology/ Environment, Nutrition & Language Arts
