Let's Talk Nature!
At Apple Holler we love teaching about how our orchard and gardens help keep the air clean, and what we can do to keep the planet clean in return. Enjoy a hands-on learning experience about all different types of plants, bugs, trees, and how recycling can help our environment. Bring your students to learn and explore our 78 acre orchard, Enchanted Forest, and Farm Park.



Your Engaging Educational Experience Includes:
- Uncover the Secrets of Trees: Learn how apple trees grow, the magic of their ‘plumbing system,’ and how they help clean our air. Through hands-on activities, students will explore photosynthesis, oxygen production, and more!
- Learn about the interdependent relationship between nature and humans.
- Step inside our buzzing bee hut to uncover the magic of pollination and the role bees play in growing delicious apples.
- Waggle like a bee! Learn the bee dance and take home a sweet honey stick!
- Visit our Butterfly Garden and Garden of Eatin’
- Learn simple, powerful ways to help the planet through recycling and reducing waste.
- Enjoy a guided tour aboard a tractor train ride through the Apple Holler orchards. Learn how wind machines protect the orchard.
- Have fun on the bug safari through the Enchanted Forest
- Visit the Golden Goat Bridge and feed the Billy goats, nannies & newborns
- Explore our Farm Park- Johnny Appleseed History Walk, Kids Korral Play Area Giant Slide, our all new Spider Web, and more!
- Capture unforgettable moments in the orchard and farm park with fun photo ops.
- Enjoy a freshly baked cookie treat and fresh Apple Cider.
Cost of Summer Fun on the Farm Field Trip
Cost: $11.50 per person (children & adults)
A minimum of 30 participants is required. Groups smaller than 30 may be paired with another group to meet the minimum.
Reservations are Required.
Includes Wisconsin Common Core Standards in Science, Agriculture, Agriscience, and Ecology/Environment.
