Picked for a Purpose – Giving Back One Apple at a Time

At Apple Holler, we believe in the power of community and the impact that small acts of kindness can have. That’s why we’re proud to continue Picked for a Purpose, our fundraising program dedicated to giving back! Each month, $1 from every pre-picked bag of apples sold will be donated to a different local organization that makes a difference. Thanks to the incredible support from the community, we were able to raise hundreds for over 20 organizations (scroll to see which ones)!

National MS Society- Wisconsin Chapter

What is Multiple Sclerosis?

Multiple sclerosis, commonly known as MS, is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. MS can interfere with communication between the brain and the rest of the body, and its effects can vary greatly from person to person.

People living with MS may experience symptoms such as fatigue, numbness and tingling, mobility challenges, vision problems, and other physical or neurological changes. Because there is currently no cure for MS, research, support, advocacy, and access to resources remain incredibly important.

Making a Difference for People Living with MS

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society works to improve the lives of people affected by MS while advancing efforts to end the disease.

Through programs and resources such as MS Navigator, the organization helps individuals and families find personalized support, information, and solutions for the challenges that can come with living with MS. The Society also advocates for people affected by MS and is a major private funder of MS research, helping advance the search for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

The Society’s Wisconsin community also provides opportunities for people affected by MS, their families, friends, volunteers, and supporters to come together through events, education, advocacy, fundraising, and community programs.

Help Us Give Back This September

We are honored to support an organization that works every day to help individuals and families affected by MS.

Throughout September, stop by Apple Holler and pick up a bag of our pre-picked Honeycrisp apples. For every bag sold, we’ll donate $1 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
