Recipe: Yummy Apple Crisp with Oats

Apple Crisp Recipe

For the crisp:

1 cup old fashioned oats

1 cup flour

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 stick butter (melted)

For the filling:

6 apples peeled & sliced

½ cup sugar

½  tsp cinnamon


Mix the ingredients for the crisp together in a large bowl using a fork or pastry cutter to create coarse crumb mixture

Mix the apples, sugar and cinnamon together.

Put half of the crisp at the bottom of a 8×8 baking dish, fill with apples and then cover with the remaining topping.

Cook at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until it is golden brown and bubbling.
