Honeycrisp is an apple that needs no introduction.  First discovered in 1960 as part of the University of Minnesota’s apple breeding program, this apple didn’t make its appearance to the public until 1991.

The Honeycrisp has proven to be a huge success in the apple world and is one of the top three apple varieties in the country in terms of volume.

The Honeycrisp is a near perfect raw apple.  It is incredibly crisp and boasts a delicate sweet-tart balance with a light berry flavor.  It has an amazing color, bright crimson and rich chartreuse.

In addition to being an outstanding apple, it has an amazing storage life.   If stored properly, this apple will remain fresh for months.  Click here to see when we are picking this wonderful apple.
