RACINE, WISCONSIN, January 27, 2016….
Last year Apple Holler’s coat drive was so successful that they are again asking the community around them to dig through their closets and donate gently used, clean winter coats during their One Warm Coat Drive.
One Warm Coat is a national organization that helps different groups organize coat drives all over the nation. “We have decided to join with this wonderful organization to help get the word out, so we can help those in need in our community.” says Sheri Gavin of Apple Holler.
Last year, Apple Holler received 124 coats during their coat drive!
Collected coats were given to Love Inc. of Burlington to distribute to families in need – free of charge – to keep them warm during our unusually cold Wisconsin winters.Apple Holler’s One Warm Coat Drive
Apple Holler wants to encourage everyone to spread the love this February by digging through their closets, finding those extra coats and give them a second life, warming the heart of someone in need!
This years coat drive will benefit VETS Place Southern Center, Union Grove and Burlington Transitional Living Center (TLC) helping those in need in the community. Those who want to donate can bring in their coats any day through February 29th. Please check Apple Holler’s open hours at appleholler.com.
