LAVERNE & SHIRLEY
Schlemeil, Schlimazel, Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!
Saturday May 30, 2015
Do you know what this means?
Find out by taking a fun-filled tour of Milwaukee… Laverne & Shirley style. You’ve never been on a tour like this before! During a driving tour you’ll see the opening shot of the Laverne & Shirley show, City Hall, the Polish flats where they lived, the brewery where they worked and eventually went out of business and the Fonz statute. Tour the Lakefront Brewery and everyone will receive samples and a glass to take home (Root Beer is available for those who do not wish to have alcohol). Frank, the loud mouth Italian father of Laverne turned up frequently, as he owned the gang’s favorite hang-out, the Pizza Bowl. So this afternoon you’ll enjoy an Italian Pizza Buffet Lunch complete with salad, garlic bread, non-alcoholic beverage and cookies at a local Italian family owned restaurant. We’ll also take in a game of mini-bowling and see if Shotz Brewery really does have the best bowlers. Laverne & Shirley are still trying to beat their high school rival, Rosie Greenbaum, at bowling and need to constantly practice to achieve this (if you are unable to bowl…you will have just as much fun watching everyone else). After working off our lunch we’ll need to stop for a custard treat at Leon’s Drive-In, a Milwaukee Tradition. Then, we’re off to a special stop that will take you on another trip down memory lane. Return home after a very fun and entertaining day!
