Pull the kids away from the television and computer and make some great memories at Apple Holler with Summer Fun on the Farm. You can visit the adorable animals that include baby goats, turkeys, guineas, goats, chickens, ducks, and bunnies.
Milly, our goat had quadruplets on July 7th. The four baby kids are doing great! Quadruplets are very unusual. In fact, this is the first time we have had quadruplets in the 20 years that we have had our goats. We haven't even had triplets. Factors that play into having multiple births include, family line, genetics, age, and diet. If a goat comes from a quad line, they will have a better chance of producing quads.
On July 8th Nancy gave birth to this unusually marked baby goat. This pretty little girl is almost twice the size as the other baby goats. Then on July 10th Sherry gave birth to yet another baby goat. That's 6 kids in 4 days. Wow!
This summer enjoy some good ole' fashioned down on the farm fun. This includes the Crazy Corn Maze, Fun House Tunnel, Music Garden, The Golden Goat Bridge, The Kid's Corral Play Area, Cool Cow Maze, Jack and the Beanstalk Story Trail and Giant Slide, Pedal Carts, Straw Mountain, Rainbow Play System and more!
On the weekends, every Saturday and Sunday, we are offering additional fun activities: a hand-led pony ride, a tractor-drawn train ride through the orchard and Enchanted Forest, and the Mother Goose Puppet Show, an original puppet show that includes fun music and nursery rhymes showing at 11am and 2pm.
